REITS ARE FINALLY EKING OUT POSITIVE RETURNS IN 1Q 2023 – WHAT LIES AHEAD FOR THE REST OF 2023?

Our last published research “Headwinds are slowly turning into Tailwinds for S-REITs” in Dec 2022 have turned out to be accurate and prescient again. S-REITs have finally eked out positive returns in 1Q2023 after a terrible year in 2022 where S-REITs suffered their GREATEST correction of 24.07% in just 6 months, the SHARPEST correction (outside the crisis periods of the Global Financial Crisis in 2008 and Covid Pandemic of 2020) in S-REITs 20-year history.



We had forecasted that “Headstrong headwinds which knocked the sails out of global stock and REIT markets in 2022 are slowly changing direction to become tailwinds, setting the course for a turnaround soon” and true enough, 1Q2023 proved us correct and accurate.

More proudly, Table 1 shows the Top 10 Best Performing REITs in 1Q2023. All 10 REITs were highlighted and presented in our Quarterly REITs classes in 2022 before their respective share price run ups.


For instance, we have been actively promoting Keppel DC REIT after we met up with its CEO, Ms Anthea Lee over lunch. We saw nothing wrong in the REIT despite the share price slide from $3 to below $1.80 in the past 1.5 years other than valuation. Our entry price below $1.80 in Keppel DC REIT have once again proven to be prescient and accurate to the core. Keppel DC REIT is the BEST Performing REIT in 1Q2023. Once again, this has proven what we have been teaching and emphasizing in our REITs classes and YouTube videos – The headwinds need NOT turn yet, but markets and REIT prices will start to turn when the negatives need only become LESS negative!


Smart and profitable investing in REITs is as much a creative and intuitive process as it is an analytical process. Thus, we have always trained our REIT investor students to think in both creative as well as analytical way, by making assumptions that have high accuracy of happening and develop a great sense of timing. We have always emphasized that a savvy sagacious investor will depend on your ability to synthesize information and to see things that no one is able to see or refuse to see/imagine at the right timing.


And right timing is a concept that a lot of market “experts” and analysts have proffered as very difficult or impossible.


Afterall, by definition, if you want to earn outsized returns that no one is earning, you have to do things that others will not do/lazy to do, at the right time. JOIN US.
